CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:
The Residence is conducting a final review of proposals for possible inclusion in its forthcoming gallery re-launch exhibition, Private Prop. We have a specific need for small scale two-dimensional work for wall display. The exhibition will take place in the context of a former living room in a church cottage where work will be layered upon evidence of a personal space. Some walls are white, some red, some with old children's wallpaper... There is a black concrete floor with evidence of paint spilled from an artist using the room as a studio. The walls are not perfect.
The theme for the show stems from ideas of private property with possible links to identity theft, intellectual property, personal ownership and paparazzi. The Residence gallery is an artist led project by its Director and resident Ingrid Z.
The exhibition opens on the 3rd of August, 2007 and lasts for 1 month. Work will be installed on the 30th of July. Work must be delivered/collected in person or posted at owner's expense. Only successful candidates will be notified by the 2nd of July. There is no fee to be in the show. Exhibited works will be for sale at a 50% split commission.

-Jpeg image(s) of proposed or past work.
-Artist bio and/or cv
