Gender Bender promuove il primo contest internazionale dedicato alle performance della durata esatta di 1 minuto. Le performance - di qualsiasi forma di espressione e tipo di disciplina - dovranno sviluppare i temi di Gender Bender: - le nuove rappresentazioni del corpo- il ruolo delle variabili culturali nella costruzione delle identità- la lettura originale dei ruoli e degli standard maschili e femminili- gli immaginari prodotti dalle specifiche identità di genere e di orientamento sessuale.
Un'apposita giuria - attualmente in corso di definizione - assegnerà un premio unico e indivisibile di 500 euro alla migliore performance.
La scheda ufficiale di iscrizione è all'indirizzzo: www.genderbender.it e va spedita entro il 1° settembre 2009.
Le performance selezionate verranno invitate a sfidarsi pubblicamente in una serata evento, parte del programma di Gender Bender.

1 MINUTE PERFORMANCE COMPETITION
Gender Bender is promoting and hosting the first international competition dedicated to performances which last 1 minute. The performances - in any expressive form and discipline - must last exactly one minute and must contain and develop the themes of Gender Bender: - new representations of the body - the role of cultural variables in identity construction - an original reading of the roles and standards of what is masculine and feminine - imagery produced from the issues of gender identity and sexual orientation.
The selected jury - currently being chosen - will award a single non-dividable prize of 500 euros to the best performance.
The official participation form is available on: www.genderbender.it and thay have to arrive by the 1st september 2009.
The selected performances will be invited to perform in a specially organised event within the Gender Bender programme.
