Wir möchten Sie herzlich zur diesjährigen Sommerwoche im Transitorischen Museum zu Pfyn
vom 7. bis zum 14. August

in der Trotte Pfyn einladen.
Zum Auftakt und Vernissage am 6. August 2011 um 20 Uhr
können Sie unsere Artists in residence der Demokratischen Kunstwochen
Ana Laura Lopez de la Torre aus London und Stefano W. Pasquini aus Bologna kennen lernen.
Sie werden über ihre Arbeit, ihre Projekte in Pfyn und ihre Ideen von demokratischer Kunst reden.
Das Transitorische Museum steht in diesem Jahr ganz im Zeichen von ‚Pfyn – Kulturhauptstadt der Schweiz 2011-12' und dem Motto ‚Fit für die Kulturhauptstadt'.
Die Künstlerinnen und Künstler der Demokratischen Kunstwochen stellen sich in kurzen Filmbeiträgen vor und erzählen, was sie in und mit Pfyn machen wollen.
Wir zeigen einen Einblick in die bereits laufenden Projekte und es gibt frisch digitalisierte Pfyn-Filme und Interviews.
Wer gerade nicht in der Nähe von Pfyn ist, gleichzeitig aber reiselustig, kann sich im Schweizerischen Lesesaal der Estländischen Nationalbibliothek in Tallinn - der Kulturhauptstadt Europas 2011 -
in einer Ausstellung über 'Pfyn - Kulturhauptstadt der Schweiz 2011-12' und die Projekte der Kulturhauptstadt der Schweiz informieren, die gestern eröffnet wurde.

We will start this years summer week with an artists talk with Ana Laura Lopez de la Torre from London and Stefano W. Pasquini from Bologna
who will talk about their work, their project in Pfyn and their ideas of democratic art.
This years exhibition is referring to this years title of 'Pfyn - cultural capital of Switzerland 2011-12' that is:
be fit for the cultural capital!
The artists in residence of the democratic art weeks present themselves in short films and talk about what they want to do in Pfyn and we are showing the work in progress
of projects that started already.
Apart from that we will show some freshly digitalized Pfyn films and interviews.
For those of you not staying near Pfyn these days, but in the mood for traveling, we recommend to pass by the swiss reading room of the national library of Estonia in Tallinn -
the cultural capital of Europe 2011. There yo can learn more about 'Pfyn - cultural capital 2011 - 12' and the ongoing projects in an exhibition that opened yesterday.
