CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:

The Residence is now accepting proposals to RUN THE GALLERY for the week of the 12th-17th of December, 2006. You will not receive any monetary assistance. We have a Myspace and a physical space. Show us how its done. Anyone can apply. The winning candidate(s) will be awarded the pleasure of our Hackney shop front gallery space for 1 week with no time to lose. Your proposal must include:
-Names/contacts/cvs of those involved
-1-3 page plan describing how the space will be occupied and what will happen. Who will staff it? What will the hours be? How will you promote it? What's it all about? Will there be a free drinks party? Who's going to be there? Are you going to sell anything? Will any security measures be necessary?
-any relevant images or sketches to aid in your proposal
-The space must be returned to its original condition by 3pm on the 18th of December, 2006.
For over the past year Director Ingrid Z and her crew have endured a heart racing rush of weekly exhibitions and events. As we come to the close of 2006, it's time to turn the tables before our next move. We are on the other side of the looking glass now. We are at each other's mercy.
