Call for Music, Video and Installations
ICMC 2007 invites the submission of electroacoustic music, video and installation works that reflect the diversity of the field of computer enhanced sonic art (see conference schedule and venues). Special emphasis is put on interactive and intermodal forms. Opportunities exist to combine digital resources with a variety of instrumental ensembles and soloists as detailed below, but specialized performance proposals are also welcome.
A number works will be selected for inclusion on a compact disc available at the conference.
Submission Information
Music, video and installation submissions must be received no later than Sunday April 30th 2007. Applicants will be notified of the jury result by Thursday May 31st 2007. Final programme will be announced Wednesday August 1st 2007.

Specialized professional ensembles will be available, such as:
• Esbjerg Ensemble
• CAPUT Ensemble
• Ensemble Ars Nova
• Contemporanea
• Insomnio
• Uusinta Ensemble
Soloists will be available for all standard orchestra instruments.
Performance proposals for the Nigh Concerts at Huset are welcome. Three 45 minute slot per night are available.
A special call is made for the 12-channel system at the Atrium of the Black Diamond (see description). Pieces submitted can become part of the the Atrium’s performance repertoire upon agreement between composer and the Black Diamond.
Music and Video
Video projection facilities will be present at most performance venues. Particular possibilities are given at:
• Thycho Brahe Planetarium; 3D rendering and dome speaker set-up (see description).
• Huset’s Cinema; small traditional cinema presenting experimental and abstract music & film/animation/visuals.
Installations
Installations will primarely be set up at Huset (see spaces available).
Circus performers
Collaboration with circus artists is possible for composers upon confirmed interested when submitting (see further details). Performance preparations will take place in Copenhagen during the days immediately preceeding the conference.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals for performances at PLEX, Huset, and the Black Diamond will take place at the day before the concert, and/or on the morning of the concert day. Rehearsals for performances at the Tycho Brahe Planetarium will take place at specific time-slots during the night preceeding the concert. Composers are invited to be present at the rehearsals of their work and manage with the assigned technician the rehearsal and the performance of their piece(s).
In the case of real-time interaction or live electronics requiring computers the composer must bring the required software on his/her laptop.
